Easter in space can be lots of fun!
Last year, we invited our followers to join us in the ESA’s Easter egg hunt FROM space. Thanks to the powerful eyes of Copernicus Sentinel-2, we could spot four egg-shaped buildings on our planet.
It was fun, wasn’t it? In case you couldn’t join at the time, you can do it now by clicking here.
At SURPRISE, we loved last year’s Easter egg hunt from space. However, did you know that Easter egg hunts can also happen IN space? Yes, they definitely can!
In 2013, astronaut Chris Hadfield, the Commander of Expedition 35 on the International Space Station (ISS), organised a very special space-Easter for his crew…seeing is believing!
SURPRISE wishes you a happy Easter!
